1993 - 1997 The Beginning
Jim Davis moves out of his garage at home into the current location of Davis Repair. He then hired 2 technicians, Ken and Ab. Jim then added 5 bays to the south side of his shop. In 1997 he hired his daughter, Michelle, as a service writer.
2008Buying the Shop
Larry bought the shop and Hannah started working as a service writer from day one.
2010 - 2012 Additions
Larry hired Alan and rehired Ken (both ASE Master Certified).
2013
Davis Repair celebrated 20 years from the very beginning and 5 years under current ownership!
Katie Parman
Katie was born in Austin, Texas. At the age of four her family moved to the beautiful state of Colorado. After graduating from Columbine High School in 2008 she went off to school in Greeley where she majored in English with a Minor in Sociology. Her original goal was to become a Librarian, but while in school Katie started working for Carquest. This is where she fell in love with the automotive industry. After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado Katie moved back to Denver and continued to work for Carquest. Shortly after, she became a part of the family at Davis Repair. Now Katie feels as though she has found her home and is excited to see what the future holds with the shop. She is currently training to become a service writer. When Katie isn't working you can often find her with friends at her local bar. When she isn't bar hopping she is reading a good book or making baked goods.
Alan Anderson
Alan was born in San Francisco, California. His family moved to the great state of Colorado in 1996 where he attended Smokey Hill High School. He graduated in 2002 and went off to College at the University of Southern Colorado where he majored in Automotive Industry Managements. After graduating in 2006 Alan started his work in the automotive industry working for various dealerships and independent shops. In 2010 Alan found his home at Davis Repair. Alan is an ASE Master Certified Technician. In 2011 Alan was married to his wife Amber and the following year they welcomed their first child. They are now expecting TWINS!! When he isn't on the job, you will also find him doing home improvement projects and working on his motorcycle.
Ken Ryan
Ken was born and raised in Colorado. In true Denver native fashion, he enjoys being outside and taking advantage of all that Colorado has to offer. Ken went through the automotive program at Denver Automotive and Diesel College (DADC) in Denver. After college he went straight into his field working at various shops. Ken has 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. He is an ASE Master Certified Technician. Ken joined the Davis Repair team in 2011 and is a fantastic addition to the shop. When he isn't working at Davis Repair he is hanging with his wife of 22 years and their 2 children. You will always find Ken on the soccer field or some other sport event cheering his kids on.
Hannah Brown
Hannah is very proud to be a 2nd generation Colorado Native. Hannah has always been a Colorado girl. She was skiing at the age of 3 years old and enjoys hiking in the beautiful mountains. Hannah went to Western State College in Gunnison Colorado where she double majored in Psychology and Sociology. After graduating in 2003 she went right into the automotive industry. Starting out as a parts driver then moving on to a job as a service writer at an independent shop. From there she went to work for a Toyota dealership in the parts department, which progressed to car sales. In 2008 her father, Larry Brown, purchased Davis Repair, which changed her life forever. Hannah has found her home and her goal is to one day buy the shop from her dad. When Hannah isn't working and managing Davis Repair you will find her walking her pit-bull, Honey, with her husband Brian. She also enjoys riding her bike and hiking the Rocky Mountains.
Larry Brown
Larry was born and raised in Colorado and is the quintessential Coloradan. While growing up, the automotive industry was a big part of Larry's life, so much so that he went off to Pueblo to attend the University of Southern Colorado, where he majored in Automotive Service Management. While attending school Larry met the love of his life, Ellen, and they started their 36 year romance. After graduation Larry went immediately into the automotive field. He worked for NAPA Auto Parts for 20 years and that is how he met Jim Davis. In 2008 Jim asked Larry to lunch and told him that he was thinking of selling the business and was interested in selling it to Larry. After some long talks with Ellen they decided to move forward and purchase the shop. So July 1, 2008 the Browns became the new owners of Davis Repair. Larry is happy to be his own boss and to be working with his daughter Hannah. When Larry isn't at the shop he and his wife Ellen can be found riding their tandem bicycle all over Colorado. They will usually take a bike trip to Europe every year. When he isn't riding with his wife he is working out at Front Range CrossFit. Health and fitness are a big priority for Larry. He plans on living for a long time!
