Being new to the area, I was looking for a mechanic I could trust. I knew my brake pads were thin but probably had a few more miles on them. The folks at Davis could have sold me a brake job but told me that I could go several thousand more miles on the existing pads. I appreciate their honesty. They also did quite a bit of front end work on my old car. It was done quickly and for less money than the estimate. I will definitely return to Davis when I need an auto mechanic.
